The Birmingham Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has been serving this community continuously since its founding in 1956. The Birmingham Chapter is extremely proud of over 57 years of dedicated service to our local, national and international communities.
The Links, Incorporated is an international volunteer civic organization of concerned, committed and talented women of African ancestry who seek to enhance the quality of life in our communities and the world. The organization is primarily dedicated to enriching and sustaining the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and persons of African descent. We achieve these goals by focusing on educational, health and economic needs. The outstanding projects implemented by our chapter come within the five facets of our organization: The Arts, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, Services to Youth and Health and Wellness.
The Birmingham Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has established itself as the leader in helping to improve the lives of underserved communities. Providing more than 1,000 hours of community volunteer service through the arts, literacy, health and wellness, scholarships and other community services, the Birmingham Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is recognized for its dedicated commitment to service.
The Birmingham Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has partnered with other local and national organizations to assist us in reaching the greatest number of beneficiaries.
